OK, I just had my first road bike built for me and tried it. Its a Chinese OEM carbon frameset, Shimano Tiagra groupset and a Shimano R500 wheelset, with SPD cleats and Schwalbe Durano Plus tyres.
I`m in euphoria - the difference between this and my old hybrid Author is huge. Its like sitting on a stool that floats over the road... FAST. Some photos to follow!
